Gameplay for the The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake premiered during the Zelda 40th anniversary Nintendo Direct. The game is scheduled for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5; the demo highlighted a new engine, manual jumping, voiced cutscenes and other modern features.
Nintendo is holding the first of two Direct showcases focused on The Legend of Zelda today at 3pm UK time. Nintendo said the show will last roughly 30 minutes and include "a variety of The Legend of Zelda-related information" about the series' 40th anniversary.
Series producer Kazuhisa Wada told Rock Paper Shotgun that Atlus will "probably eventually" remaster or remake Persona 1 and 2 for cultural preservation. The interview and commentary also highlighted remaining Atlus titles tied to older hardware, including PS2-era Shin Megami Tensei games and a Nintendo 3DS exclusive.
