Xbox announced the launch of Dumb Ways to Build, a 1–4 player physics-based co-op construction game. The release is available on Xbox Series X|S and the official description states the title includes cross-platform support.
Xbox announced WARDOGS, a tactical all-out warfare FPS for 100 players split across three teams fighting over a control zone on a destructible battlefield. The game is set in derelict industrial mountains of Eastern Europe and is slated to release in 2028 on Xbox.
Unionised Blizzard employees ratified a contract that requires the company to bargain over use of generative AI tools and grants laid-off workers a 14-month recall window. The agreement also includes wage increases, grievance procedures and a three-day in-office hybrid workweek.

During PlayStation’s State of Play, Square Enix revealed a release date and new gameplay for FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION, confirming launch on April 8, 2027. The title will release physically and digitally on PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam, Epic, Microsoft Store), with Early Access noted.
Xbox said it will limit monthly cloud gaming time for Game Pass subscribers starting in November. Ultimate plan holders will have 15 hours per month; Premium 10 hours and Essential 5 hours, after which users must purchase extra cloud playtime.
